In the event of a major disaster, the Division will coordinate, assist and support response and recovery efforts to protect the lives and property of Palm Beach County residents. The Division and the American Red Cross maintain emergency shelters throughout the County in the event of a disaster. A hurricane preparedness brochure is available through the Division.
